Pager Repair Policy

When your numeric pager* is in need of repair, you have the option of sending the unit to ComServe. We have direct access to pager repair technicians who can repair damaged pager models manufactured by Motorola, NEC, Uniden, Everon and Nixxo.

ComServe will charge a flat rate of $29.95 to repair numeric pagers. Pager repairs take approximately 3 to 4 days to complete. After the pager is repaired, we will test the unit to ensure that it is functioning correctly and is able to receive a test page. We will ship the customers pager to the address they indicated using UPS Ground (the shipping fee is part of the flat rate fee). ComServe provides a 30-day limited warranty on the work performed on the pager.

If the pager is unrepairable, ComServe will charge the customer $19.95. This fee covers the cost of diagnosing the cause of the pager problem and returning the damaged unit to the customer. ComServe will contact the customer to explain why we were unable to repair the pager and will take a replacement pager order. The remaining $10 from the payment the customer sent with the pager will be credited towards the purchase of a replacement pager unit.
