ComServe Corporation acquires Hampton Roads Online
Yorktown, VA - November 7, 2005

ComServe Corporation, a nationwide provider of communications and communications support services has acquired the operations of Hampton Roads Online for an undisclosed amount. Hampton Roads Online has been providing Internet, website hosting, co-location, and e-mail services for over 10 years. ComServe will retain the Hampton Roads Online name and continue to offer most of the services offered under the previous ownership. "This will be the first in ComServe's plans to acquire a national network of Internet Service Providers" according to Richard Gdovic, ComServe's CEO. "Our established national billing, customer service, and technical infrastructure gives us the unique ability to consolidate multiple providers of communication services and gain economies of scale while providing better customer service."
